Helicopter Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Fronds at Frequented Southern California Coast
A chopper soaring over a popular coastal shoreline unexpectedly commenced twirling wildly, finally dropping height and smashing into a cluster of palm groves as spectators watched.
Videos uploaded online show the chopper commencing to spiral above Huntington Beach then descending near the perimeter of the coast, where it becomes wedged amidst palm groves and a steps adjacent to the shoreline route.
Emergency Response Update
Emergency responders stated five persons were rushed to the hospital comprising two individuals who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the crash on that day.
Three people on the street were harmed. Information on their wounds were not yet released.
The reason for the accident was still under investigation.
